Parent Survey

AVSD continues to monitor public health indicators from state and county health officials that serve as a guide on when it is safe to begin in-person learning. We are encouraged by the progress made in the nine indicators identified by Pima County Health Department. We are optimistic that we will soon reach benchmarks that will support Hybrid Learning, which is when students are served one portion (or cohort) at a time. For example, one-half of students will attend in-person two days a week and the other half will attend on a different two days, with all students participating in Remote Learning on Fridays.

With improvements in metrics each week, we have targeted the start of Hybrid Learning to begin after fall break, on Monday, October 19. We will continue to offer Remote Learning for those who are not yet comfortable with sending their children to school for in-person learning. Please complete the survey below by Friday, September 18 for each child in your household attending AVSD so we know your preference and can ensure we are prepared when we begin Hybrid Learning. Thank you!
